Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain the welding robot which can cope with various weldings and is suitable for multipurposes by providing four pieces of displayers on the operation box for instruction and by storing the coordinate corresponding to each point of the shaft of a welding robot with coinciding to the displaying motion of each displayer.

CONSTITUTION: A writing display part 4 and writing switch 6 are provided to the operation box 3 for instruction in addition to various operation switches. The display part 4 has four pieces of displayers (a)W(d) and each displayer (a)W(d) is made a two-dimentional arrangement corresponding respectively to the four points of the salient point (a) of one side end part of the top in the V shape bevelling, the salient point (b) of the same one side end part of the bottom part, the salient point (c) of the other side end part of the bottom part and the salient point (d) of the same other side end part of the apex. When a mode switch is operated to the instruction side, it is motioned in the order of (a)-(b)-(c)-(d) each time when the writing switch 6 is operated at a time and it is displayed by the flash of radiation to be under operation. When either of the displayer (a)W(d) is flashed, two sorts of coordinates of the axis X and axis Z of the torch 1 is able to be instructed by the operation of the writing switch 6 and the coordinates Xn, Zn of the torch 1 corresponding to the salient point in order can be instructed.
