Abstract:
PURPOSE:To accurately measure the bend of a hole in all directions. CONSTITUTION:Mobile cylinders 4 are put in a hole inserting tube 2 composed of a flexible tube, at regular intervals. The said cylinders 4 are connected with each other by means of a longitudinal and transversal shafts X and Y in the state of a universal joint where the cylinders 4 can be freely turned and, in addition, angle detectors 6, 6,... are respectively fitted to the shafts X and Y. On the other hand, a torsion detecting inclinometer 9 is fitted to the tube 2 and the bend of a hole is measured by transmitting the detected values of the detectors 6, 6,... and inclinometer 9 to an analyzer.
