Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an instrument for observing the pressure of a cavity in a die for die casting for producing a high quality product by casting under accurate gas pressure in the cavity in the die.
SOLUTION: At the time of executing the casting into the cavity 17 by fastening a movable die 9 to a fixed die 3, the gas in the cavity 17 is exhausted to the outer part through passages 31, 33, 35 for gas venting or a vacuum runner part communicated with the cavity 17 in the die. The gas pressure in the cavity 17 is measured through a passage 27 for measuring the pressure with a pressure detecting means 73.
