To provide an instrument used for exerting a finger-pressure effect which stimulates a human body thoroughly just like a finger-pressure and facilitates flow of the blood so as to improve a body condition during sleeping or working by sitting on a chair as in driving a car or the like.

The instrument used for exerting a finger-pressure effect is a pillow 2 and includes a pillow base 6 forming a plurality of ridge-shaped projections consisting of a plurality of lengthwise plate 12 members which extend orthogonally to the height direction of the base plate and are parallel to each other, and is laid on the upper face of the pillow, placing the reverse side under for use. The instrument is equipped with a plurality of the lengthwise resilient members 12 in line, with the lengthwise direction orthogonal to the height direction of a sleeping person, on the surface of a base cloth 8. On the upper face of a pillow part, a plurality of lengthwise resilient members 12 in line are set with the lengthwise direction orthogonal to the height direction of the sleeping person. In addition, this instrument is a carpet which is provided with a plurality of rod members and flexible connecting members for connecting adjacent rod members. In the instrument, the rod members are arranged to be parallel, set apart to each other, and disposed in the height direction of the sleeping person, and used as laying under one thigh to the hip.
