To provide an insulated type DC-DC converter which restrains heat generation in a transformer and smooth coil and which also cuts back component cost and simplifies an assembly process.
An insulated type DC-DC converter comprises: switching elements 1a-1d; transformers 2a, 2b, including cores 23a, 23b having primary coils 21a, 21b and secondary coils 22a, 22b wound around, which transfer electric power supplied to the primary coils to the secondary coils by switching operation of the switching elements; rectifier elements 3a-3d which rectify the electric power transferred to the secondary coils; and smoothing coils 4a, 4b, including coils 42a, 42b wound around cores 41a, 41b, which smooth the electric power rectified by the rectifier elements. In the insulated type DC-DC converter, the transformers 2a, 2b are configured with at least two of them, and the cores or the secondary coils of each transformer are in the same shape at least on one side of them, and the cores of at least two transformers are mutually fixed by a first common fixing member 5.
