Abstract:
To provide an insulated wire connector that can reliably electrically connect an electric wire in a covered electric wire and a connection terminal.SOLUTION: An insulated wire connector 10 includes a holding unit (first holding unit 111, second holding unit 112) for holding a covered electric wire (first covered electric wire L1, second covered electric wire L2), a pointed unit (first pointed unit 121, second pointed unit 122) made of a conductive material and capable of piercing the covered electric wire held by the holding unit, a guiding unit (first guiding unit 131, second guiding unit 132) for guiding the pointed unit or the covered electric wire such that the pointed unit pierces a predetermined position of the covered electric wire held by the holding unit in a predetermined direction. The pointed unit is pierced into the covered electric wire held by the holding unit, and therefore, the electric wire in the covered electric wire and the pointed unit serving as a connection terminal can be reliably electrically connected.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
