To provide an insulated wire which has high partial discharge generation voltage and is excellent in wear resistance of a film, solvent resistance, insulation retention characteristics of a processed section, film-shape retention of the processed section, and insulation retention characteristics after thermally-aged processing.
In the insulated wire, an enamel-baking layer, an adhesive layer, and an extrusion-coated resin layer are provided on an outer periphery of a conductor, with the sum of thicknesses of the enamel-baking layer, the extrusion-coated resin layer and the adhesive layer of 60 m or more, and a thickness of the enamel-baking layer of 50 m or below. The extrusion-coated resin layer includes polyphenylene sulfide polymer whose melt viscosity at 300C is 100 Pa s or more, thermoplastic elastomer by 2-8 mass%, and an antioxidant. The inverter surge-resistant insulated wire is made of a polyphenylene sulfide resin composition wherein a tension elasticity modulus at 25C is 2,500 Mpa or more and the tension elasticity modulus at 250C is 10Mpa or more.
