Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an insulating member furnishing an inorganic insulating layer which covers the edge of the insulating member in an even thickness.
CONSTITUTION: A metal inorganic salt is added to a sol of a metal oxide precursor manufactured by a sol-gel method, a base material 1 is soaked in this solution, and a current is applied making the base material 1 as the cathode, so as to attach the metal oxide precursor to the outer surface of the base material 1, and by heating the attachment, an insulating member furnishing an inorganic insulating layer is obtained.
