Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a desired resin usable as an impregnating resin and sufficiently ensure the lower dielectric constant and lower dielectric loss factor of the whole sheet by using, as a fiber base material, a mixture of a fluorine resin fiber and an insulating fiber more excellent in affinity or adhesion to an impregnant than the fluorine resin fiber.
SOLUTION: As a fiber base material 1, a mixed paper of a fluorine fiber and an insulating fiber more excellent in affinity or adhesion to an impregnant 2 than the fluorine resin fiber is used. As the mixed fiber, one obtained by mixing polytetrafuloroethylene fiber with the insulating fiber by wet paper making method can be used. The polytetrafluoroethylene can be obtained by dispersing polytetrafluoroethylene powder in viscose followed by emulsion fiber forming. Further, the impregnant 2 is selected according to the using condition of the insulating sheet (heat resistance, wet resistance, mechanical strength, withstand voltage or the like), and as the impregnant 2, for example, a polyimide resin composition, a bismaleimide resin composition or the like is used.
