PURPOSE: To enhance the cooling performance sufficiently by constituting a peripheral wall section having rectangular waving cross-section and forming the radially extending part of the peripheral wall section thicker than the peripherally extending part thereof.
CONSTITUTION: Insulating members 15 for keeping an interval between inner and outer winding layers 11, 14 are arranged therebetween. The insulating members 15 are formed into a tubular shape as a whole with the peripheral wall section 16 thereof having rectangular waving cross-section. The peripheral wall section 16 has radially extending part 17 formed thicker than the peripherally extending part 18. The insulating members 15 are made of a high heat- resistant thermoplastic resin. A prepreg material is also pressure molded of a high strength fibrous material impregnated with a resin.
