Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase reliability of a DC/DC converter.SOLUTION: A secondary side controller 400 drives a light emitting element of a photo coupler 204 so that a detection voltage Vcorresponding to an output voltage Vgenerated in an output capacitor C1 approaches a reference voltage V. A primary side controller 202 controls a switching transistor M1 according to a feedback signal V. A protection circuit 420 is activated upon detection of an abnormal state, and drives the light emitting element of the photocoupler 204. An auxiliary power supply circuit 210 includes a power supply capacitor C2 provided separately from the output capacitor C1 and supplies a power supply voltage Vto the protection circuit 420 and an anode of the light emitting element of the photo coupler 204.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
