Abstract:

To provide an insulator for motor in which a weld line can be positioned at a part of high strength and cracking from the weld line can be prevented.

The insulator 530 is molded of resin and has an annular portion 531, a plurality of tees 532 projecting radially inward from the inner circumferential surface of the annular portion 531, and an outer circumferential wall 533 fixed to the annular portion 531. A plurality of cuts 535 are provided in the outer circumferential wall 533. The mark of an opening for injecting resin at the time of molding is positioned at least one of the plurality of tees 532. A weld line 530b formed by molding is positioned at least one of a part overlapping the tees 532 and a part of the plurality of cuts 535 excepting the deepest one 535a.
