Abstract:

To provide an intaglio printing machine capable of corresponding to both multi-color printing and fewer-color printing and pre-wiping.

In the intaglio printing machine equipped with a rotatably supported intaglio printing cylinder 32, a wiping roller 37 for removing an excess part of an ink fed on the intaglio printing cylinder 32, and a wiping tank 38, a rotatably supported ink fountain roller 111 is equipped, and either an edge-dam 115 and a bottom plate 117 for feeding an ink into the ink fountain roller 111, or an ink recovering tray 131 and a doctor blade 134 for recovering the ink by facing to the ink fountain roller 111, are selectively provided. When the edge-dam 115 and the bottom plate 117 are provided, the ink fountain roller 111 feeds the ink to the intaglio printing cylinder 32 side, and when the ink recovering tray 131 and the doctor blade 134 are provided, the ink fountain roller 111 recovers the ink from the intaglio printing cylinder 32 side.
