Abstract:
PURPOSE: To facilitate printing having no bubblelike defect by a method wherein printing image grooves are formed on the surface part having good ink transferring properties of an intaglio blanket and the inked intaglio blanket into contact by the predetermined printing pressure with matter to be printed so as to press out ink.
CONSTITUTION: An intaglio blanketl is constituted by arranging supporting member made of aluminum or the like as the lowermost layer and elastic stock made of silicone rubber or the like having good ink transferring properties as the main body part, on which printing image grooves 11 are formed so as to have the desired pattern. After ink 2 is supplied with a dispenser or the like to the intaglio blanket 1, which is wound round an impression on cylinder, the intaglio blanket 1 under rotation is brought into contact by the predetermined printing pressure with matter to be printed 3 such as glass substrate or the like. Thus, ink 21 is pressed out in the environs and removed. After that, by separating the intaglio blanket 1 from the matter to be printed 3, the ink in the printing image grooves 11 is transferred to the surface of the matter to be printed 3 so as to complete printing.
