To provide an intake control device capable of suppressing enlargement of the device and improving combustion performance, in the intake control device for controlling intake air amount by arranging a control unit with an intake control valve within an intake manifold.
The intake control device is provided with the control unit 3 which is arranged within an intake passage 20a of the intake manifold 2 for introducing intake air to a cylinder of an internal combustion engine via a cylinder head 1 and has a control valve 4 for controlling intake air amount and a flow passage. The intake manifold 2 is formed by a first member 2a having a receiving part 20b for storing the control unit 3 and an abutment part 21 abutting on the cylinder head 1 and a second member 2b joined to the first member 2a. The control unit 3 is inserted into the receiving part 20b from a joint part 23 side of the first member 2a and the second member 2b.
