PURPOSE: To simplify a structure and at the same time, improve the precision of control at what is interveniently provided with throttle valves at independent intake passages connected to respective cylinders, and also, is provided with idling regulation valves so as to bypass these throttle valves, by specifying the providing positions of idling regulation valves.
CONSTITUTION: At a 4 cylinder series engine whose ignition order is made to be 1-3-4-2, independent air intake passages 3(3a-3d) are connected to respective cylinders 2a-2d, and throttle valves 4(4a-4d) linking mutually are interveniently provided at respective passages 3. A surge tank 8 is connected with the upper stream sides of respective independent intake passages 3, and a throttle valve 10 is interveniently provided at a common intake passage 9 on the upper stream side of the surge tank 8. And the independent intake passages 3 of cylinders whose intake strokes do not neighbor are mutually connected on the lower stream sides of throttle valves 4 by means of connecting passages 21, 22, and respective connecting passages 21, 22 are connected with the common intake passage 9 on the upper stream side of the throttle valve 10 by means of idling regulation passages 23, 24 interveniently provided with respective idling regulation valves 25, 26.
