Abstract:
PURPOSE: To separate the opening end of an air vent channel away from a choke valve, so as to restrict variation in the inner pressure of a float chamber due to negative pressure, etc., in the vicinity of the choke valve by providing a space expanding outward from inner channel, on a proper part of an air feeding tube, and by having the opening end faced in the expanding space.
CONSTITUTION: A choke valve 26 is provided on the intake channel 3 of a mixing body 2 in a carburetor 1, and a main nozzle 6 is guided out of a float chamber 5 and protruded into a venturi part 4. A flange part 9 in the guided end port 8a of an air feeding tube 8 is connected to a flange part 7 in the intake inlet 3a of the intake channel 3. The opening 10a of an air vent channel 10 guided out of the float chamber 5 is communicated to the inner channel 12 of the air feeding tube 8. In such a device, a space 13 expanding outward from the inner channel 12 is formed on the part 11 adjacent to the flange part 9 of the air feeding tube 8. The opening end 10a of the air vent channel 10 faces in the expanding space 13.
