Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve intake efficiency by placing an air cleaner in the rear of a main pipe connected to a head pipe, providing an air introducing plate having an opening in the front on the outer periphery of the main pipe, and utilizing the main pipe, the upper portion of a down tube, and a tension pipe also as air passages. CONSTITUTION:A main pipe 6 is connected to a head pipe 2, the top end of a down tube 7 is connected to the vicinity of the connecting portion, the down tube 7 is connected to the main pipe 6 with a tension pipe 8, and an air cleaner 23 is place in the rear of the main pipe 6. An air introducing plate 37 having an opening in the front is provided on the outer periphery of the main pipe 6 to guide and feed air into the air cleaner, while the main pipe 6, down tube 7, and tension pipe 8 are also utilized as air passages to increase a feeding air quantity into the air cleaner as a whole, thereby improving intake efficiency.
