Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To alter not only a valve operating angle, but a valve lifting quality.
SOLUTION: In this controller, a control housing 5 is made so as to be rotated with a driving shaft as the center when a control shaft 23 is rotated. A drive disk 9 is rotatably stored in this control housing 5, and thereby a driven side gear 10 of this drive disk 9 is engaged with a driving side gear of a driving shaft 1. A cam driver 13 is rotatably stored in this drive disk 9 at a position decentered from the turning center. A pin 16 of this cam driver 13 is slidably engaged with a long hole 19 of a rocker cam 17 rockably supported by the driving shaft 1. When the control housing 5 is rotated, the drive disk 9 and the cam driver 13 are also deviated from the initial position, the rocker cam 17 is also rocked as far as a portion for the deviation amount, whereby an operating angle and the maximum lifting quantity of a valve 27 are varied to some extent.
