Abstract:
To reduce the generation of noise due to the occurrence of a turbulent flow on a spot situated downstream from a throttle valve when the valve is rapidly opened.
This intake manifold 12 formed of a resin material to feed air (intake air) to respective cylinders is connected to an engine. A throttle body 15 with a built-in throttle valve 19 is connected to a spot situated upper stream from the intake manifold 12. In the intake manifold 12, a plurality of plate-form straightening members 33 to straighten the flow of intake air along its flow direction are arranged on an inner peripheral wall of the vicinity of a connection part with the throttle body 15.
