An air filter 18, which filters intake air, is held between a case main body 12 and a cap part 13, while an intake manifold 24, which introduces the intake air filtered by the filter 18 into an intake port 10a, is formed as an integrated body with the case main body 12 by using resin. The intake manifold 24 and the case main body 12 are made up of a first partition body and a second partition body. The first partition body is near to an internal combustion engine 10 and serves as an inner side part having an installation part 27 to the internal combustion engine 10, while the second partition body serves as an outer side part that is far from the internal combustion engine 10. The first partition body is made up of a single-layered molding, while the second partition body is made up of a molding of the sandwich structure consisting of core layer made of foam resin material and skin layers, which cover both (front and back) surfaces of the core layer. The first partition body and the second partition body are joined as an integrated body in order to form the intake manifold 24 and the case main body 12.
