To provide an intake valve device of an internal combustion engine by which degradation in startability at low-temperature is prevented from occurring in the internal combustion engine wherein injection supply of fuel is conducted toward the intake valve downstream in the intake passage and upstream of the intake valve.
In the internal combustion engine, a liquid mixture of gasoline and alcohol is supplied as fuel. The intake valve device 2 is used in the internal combustion engine 1 where the fuel is injected in an intake passage 17 upstream of an intake valve 21 toward a downstream intake valve 21. An umbrella portion 211 is placed facing the fuel flow injected in the intake passage at the intake valve 21, so that an inflow and an inflow-stop of the fuel and intake air into an engine cylinder 11 are performed. In the valve device 2, a heating mechanism 50 is provided to heat directly the umbrella part 211 of the intake valve 21. In the inside of the valve head 211, the heating mechanism 50 includes a heating element 51 to be heated by power supply from the a power source 92.
