Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an integral drum provided with an internal tooth and an external tooth, having high quality of a product, able to achieve prevention of inclination of the tooth and deviation of the axes of the internal tooth and the external tooth, for exhibiting meshing stability of the external tooth and a counterpart member, and having the T-shaped sectional shape, and a method for forming it.
SOLUTION: An integral drum has a structure in which a first drum part 1 on which an internal tooth 1a is formed, a second drum part 2 on which an external tooth 2a is formed, an intermediate stepped part 4 for connecting the first drum part 1 having the large diameter to the second drum part 2 having the small diameter, and a boss part 3 radially extending from the approximately intermediate position in the axial width of the second drum part 2 toward the drum axis, and having the cross section shaved of a T formed together with the second drum part 2 are integrally formed. In a forming method by one clamping, the internal tooth 1a is formed on the inner surface of the first drum part 1 by cold plastic deformation by flop forming while the boss part 3 of one circular plate material is pinched and fixed, and the external tooth 2a is formed on the outer surface of the second drum part 2 by cold plastic deformation by rolling.
