PURPOSE: To easily and correctly execute combination at the time of unifying processing results by synchronizing the processing results of respective channels, which are generated in parallel, through the use of a time tag.
CONSTITUTION: Recognition devices recognizing information including time base information on such as an operation and a sound signal are operated in parallel for the plural channels, and the unification processing of recognized results obtained for the respective channels is executed. Here, all the channels are synchronously operated by a single time reference signal. In the respective channels, time information (time tag) of input data corresponding to the recoqnized result is outputted at the time of outputting the recognized result, and the recognized results of multiple channels are arranged based on time information mentioned in the time tag so as to unify the recognized results. A time synchronous signal C2 generated by a clock generation part CG2 is distributed to a recognized result unification part 12 and the respective recognition devices P2a, P2b and P2c, for example. All the devices in the system execute a synchronous operation by the single time signal.
