Abstract:
PURPOSE:To effectively use the line connection part of a public network or a line switching network and to effectively and rapidly perform inter-network connection by performing communication control by selecting a terminal connected to a packet switching network by the identifier of the terminal at an outgoing side. CONSTITUTION:The line connection part 6a detects an incoming call from the public network or the line switching network 2, and informs the incoming to a communication control part 7. The communication control part 7 accepts the incoming, and establishes a call between the terminal 1a via the line connection part 6a and the public network or the line switching network 2. Here, the communication control part 7 receives the identifiers ID of the terminals (1a-1n) by a decided communication procedure, The identifier ID is compared with the identifier ID stored in an ID storage part 13 in advance, and furthermore, the logical number of a terminal address with respect to either the terminals (5a-5m) connected to the packet switching network 4 corresponding to the identifier ID is detected from a terminal address storage part 8, and delivered to an inter-network connection control part 9. In such a way, communication between the terminal 1a and the terminal 5a is performed by a protocol conversion part 10.
