Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a difficulty that the end of a separating link line is disconnected if it is connected to the adjacent link by a roller pin although it is possible that the link line is removed from the chief chain to exchange it to another link line for exchange of the connection structure of chief chain.
SOLUTION: In the interchanging method of a chief chain, a first link line K3 is removed from the chief chain C and connected by a second link line K4. A third link line K5 is removed and connected by a forth link line K6. In the second link line K4, at least a first cage attachment link L1 of the first link line K3 is exchanged to a first usual link L2. The third link line K5 has a part of link or link line in common with the second link line K4. The link connection structure of the forth link line K6 is different from the third link line K5.
