Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To select one of plural functions and one of plural sub communication protocols by storing information that shows plural function units and plural sub communication protocols as configuration ROM and selectively using them in a system.
SOLUTION: A 1st configuration ROM 8 stores node information of a 1st protocol that communicates command/status information about a moving image signal sig 1 which is acquired by a digital moving image camera and recorder which functions with the combination of an image pickup part 1 and a video processing part 2, and a 2nd configuration ROM 9 stores node information of a 2nd protocol which communicates a still picture signal sig 2 and command/ status information which are acquired by a digital camera that functions with the combination of the image pickup part 1 and a camera processing part 3. Either of the configuration ROM 8 of 9 is defined as configuration ROM from a bus according to the state of electronic equipment.
