PURPOSE: To increase input information to a personal computer, by feeding back a signal caused by an output of a sensor selected with a logical means to a printer port.
CONSTITUTION: Data at DATA terminals 11W1n is latched to data latch circuits 61W6n with a signal at a synchronizing output signal STB terminal 2. When the data at the terminal 11 goes to an H level and the data at other terminals 12W1n goes to an L level, the output of NAND circuits 82W8n goes to H independently of the level of the output of sensors 72W7n. On the other hand, the output of the NAND circuit 81 goes to L, when the output of the sensor 71 goes to H, and goes to H when the output goes to L. That is, the state of the sensor 71 is recognized by bringing the level of the terminal 11 of the personal computer to H and that of the terminals 12W1n to L. Further, the state of the sensor 72 is recognized by bringing the level of the terminal 12 to H and the level of the others to L, and the state of the sensor 7n is recognized by bringing the level of the terminal 1n to H and the others to L.
