Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the interference suppression device with a high speed interference wave suppression characteristic without increasing the scale of hardware by adjusting the initial value of board of an adaptive filter in response to the state of a received interference wave in the adaptive algorithm based on the method of steepest descent where the amount of arithmetic operations required for one load update is small. SOLUTION: The device is provided with a beam forming means 5 that receives part or all of output signals from plural antenna elements 1 to form a beam in a prescribed direction, a discrete Fourier transform device 11 that receives reception signals of plural antenna elements 1 and forms an auxiliary beam in the arrival direction of interference wave, an adaptive filter 16 that receives an output signal of the discrete Fourier transform device 11, a board initial value adjustment means 10 that adjusts the initial load value of the adaptive filter based on a direction direction of the auxiliary beam, and a load calculation means 9 that uses a load transferred from the load initial value adjustment means 10 as an initial value to update the load based on the adaptive algorithm.
