To provide an interior component which is lightweight, achieves a cost reduction and enables simplification of an outer circumferential terminal treatment work, and to provide its manufacturing method.

A door trim main body 20 comprises a lightweight foamed resin base material 21 having shape retainability, a resin rib 22 integrated on its inner surface and having a reinforcing function and a decorative material 23 laminated on the surface of the foamed resin base material 21. A hot melt seal 24 for bonding the foamed resin base material 21 and the decorative material 23 to each other is preliminarily laminated on the decorative material 23 side, and the foamed resin base material 21 is shaped into a predetermined shape and is integrated with the decorative material 23 by deep-forming a heat-softened foamed resin sheet S by clamping upper and lower shaping molds 41 and 42. Then the door trim main body 23 is removed from the mold, the hot-melt sheet 24A on the reverse side of a margin 26 to roll-in of the decorative material 23 is heat-melted and the margin 26 to roll-in is rolled in on the reverse side of the foamed resin base material 21. By this the terminal treatment work is simplified.
