Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain an interior material excellent in its appearance and cushioning property by needle punching a web consisting of overlapped upper and lower two layers from its lower side and then forming a napped layer at the upper layer web and then further needle punching from the upper layer side. CONSTITUTION: This method for producing an interior material comprises overlapping an upper layer web and a lower layer web, adhering by interlacing the upper layer web by needle punching from the lower web side, then forming a napped layer at the upper layer web, further needle punching from the upper layer side for interlacing the upper layer web and the lower layer web to strongly connect the upper web layer with the lower web layer without using an adhesive to obtain the objective interior material excellent in its appearance and cushioning property without breaking the napped layer.
