Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide the subject interlaced spun yarn having a thick fineness and suitable for industrial use, etc., and to provide its production method.

CONSTITUTION: In related to an interlaced spun yarn obtained by gathering staple fibers and having converged parts (C) and non-converged parts (F) alternately formed in the longitudinal direction of the yarn, this interlaced spun yarn is characterized by ≥76mm average fiber length of the above-mentioned staple fiber, ≥300 of the number of the above-mentioned staple fiber per the cross section area of the fiber and ≥1.0 of the number of the above-mentioned converged parts per 25.4mm yarn length in the longitudinal direction of the yarn. Another purpose is related to its production method.
