To provide a method for producing an interlayer for laminated glass obtainable of the interlayer for laminated glass in which appearance non-uniformity is suppressed and patterns are hard to be visible when light is transmitted.
In this method for producing an interlayer 1 for laminated glass, a first layer 2 and a second layer 3 are laminated. The method for producing the interlayer 1 for laminated glass includes a step of obtaining the interlayer 1 for laminated glass by laminating the first layer 2 and the second layer 3 using the first layer 2 containing a thermoplastic resin and the second layer 3 containing a thermoplastic resin and inorganic particles and whose average roughness Rz at ten points on the surface 3a prior to lamination, where the first layer 2 and the second layer 3 are to be laminated, is equal to or smaller than 15 μm.
