To provide an interline fishing rod capable of decreasing the resistance of the line on the inner face of the rod, stabilizing the joint length at the joining part of the rods and preventing the slip of a small-diameter rod in the case of a gelescopic extension rod.

The interline fishing rod is produced by forming a line-guiding hollow part in a rod pipe obtained by winding a fiber-reinforced prepreg composed of a reinforcing fiber impregnated with a synthetic resin. The hollow part has a joining face on the inner circumference of the tip end part to join the outer circumference of the rear end of a rod pipe having a diameter smaller than the former rod pipe. A water-repelling film 30 is formed on the inner surface of the rod pipes excluding the joining part.
