To provide an intermediate treatment apparatus for recycling PET bottles which is small corresponding to the scale of treatment and is inexpensive.

The intermediate apparatus has a turn table 1, recessed parts 10 formed at constant angular intervals in the peripheral part of the turn table 1, holding members 11 which are arranged along the constitution walls of respective recessed part 10 and hold the turned-over PET bottles PB pushed into the recessed parts 10 by elastic recovery force, bottle neck cutting devices 2 arranged at the same angular intervals as in the arrangement of the recessed parts 10, a bottle cleaning device 3, and a label removal facilitating device 4. The turn table 1 is rotated, and the bottles PB held by the holding members 11 are moved to the positions of the devices to be treated in turn by the devices.
