Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide an intermittent suction device having a simple structure, a high reliability and a long useful life, and being producible at a low cost.
CONSTITUTION: This is an intermittent suction device for taking out a fluids (i.e., body fluids) from a patient by composing so as to control the duty cycle between 'off' position and 'on' position by magnetically sensitive diaphragms 18, 36 for switching the front with the rear between the 'on' position and 'off' position, i.e., a first position and second position while controlling a pressure difference in both sides of the diaphragm 18, 36. The flexible diaphragms 18, 36 are biased against the first position by using a permanent magnet acting to attract the diaphragm. This device hardly has a movable part, and a user can easily adjust the duty cycle and the whole cycle time.
