Abstract:

To accurately determine an initial state of resonance of a dual mass flywheel (DMF), and cope with the resonance with appropriate timing.

By reading the range of variation of crankshaft rotation speed (S102) and comparing this value with standard values A1, A2, A3 (S106, S110, S112), the degree of DMF resonance is obtained, and resonance reduction processing or resonance extinguishment processing with respect to each of the values A1, A2, A3 is performed (S108, S114, S116). Furthermore, a lamp issuing an alarm about disengagement can be lit when a clutch is engaged. In any case, since each level state in the initial state of DMF resonance can be accurately determined by the range of variation of the crankshaft rotation speed, the reduction in or extinguishment of an engine output variation can be performed at the right time in a manner which fits in well the circumstances.
