To provide a control device of an internal combustion engine employing liquid fuel and gas fuel as the fuel, wherein the air-fuel ratio of exhaust gas is periodically changed from lean to rich and from rich to lean so as to keep a catalyst purifying performance high.
Correction factor (gasoline FAF) for correcting an injection amount of liquid fuel (for example, gasoline) and a correction factor (hydrogen FAF) for correcting an injection amount of gas fuel (for example, hydrogen) are independently prepared. The phase difference (delay time) is set between the correction factors so that a phase of a cylinder air-fuel ratio materialized by injection of the liquid fuel coincides with that materialized by injection of the gas fuel.
