Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove deposit adhering to an injection valve, and to reduce a variation of an air-fuel ratio accompanied by the removal.SOLUTION: A fuel injection control device comprises a fuel injection valve which injects fuel contained in an air-fuel mixture which is burnt in a combustion chamber of an internal combustion engine by moving a needle valve, and a control part which can selectively perform high-lift injection and low-lift injection. When a specified condition that deposit DP adhering in the fuel injection valve should be removed is not established, the control part performs the high-lift injection, and moves the needle valve so that an air-fuel ratio of an air-fuel mixture reaches a target air-fuel ratio at that time. On the other hand, when the specified condition is established, the control part continuously performs the low-lift injection a plurality of times, and moves the needle valve so that the air-fuel ratio of the air-fuel mixture reaches an air-fuel ratio which is smaller than the target air-fuel ratio at that time. By this constitution, a torque variation amount at the low-lift injection and a degree of the deterioration of emission can be reduced.
