Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internal combustion engine fuel supply control system capable of improving the combustion efficiency of an internal combustion engine to which a main fuel and a sub-fuel assisting in the combustion of the main fuel are supplied.SOLUTION: A diesel fuel injection condition is determined based on an operating state of an engine 10 in S102, and an ignition delay and a heating value of a diesel fuel are calculated based on an oxygen concentration and a temperature of a combustion chamber and the diesel fuel injection condition in S103. If it is determined in S104 that the calculated heating value of the diesel fuel causes an accidental fire of hydrogen, an injection quantity of the diesel fuel is increased. If it is determined in S107 that the injection quantity of the diesel fuel per injection calculated in S106 increases a cooling loss of the engine 10, the number of times of injection of the diesel fuel per combustion cycle is increased. If it is determined in S111 that a maximum value of a pressure of the combustion chamber exceeds a threshold pressure at diesel fuel combustion start timing calculated in S110 on the basis of the ignition delay of the diesel fuel, diesel fuel injection start timing is changed to a retard position.
