Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve cooling performance by providing a guide fin for ventilation between a bowl-shaped flywheel and a cover for housing it, in a magnetic generator which has a magnet provided on said flywheel on the driving shaft of a motor-cycle, and a stater provided on an engine case. CONSTITUTION:In a magnet generator for a motor-cycle, etd. a nearly bowl- shaped flywheel 24, on the bottom part 32 of which more than one ventilation window 34 is formed, is fitted over the tapered part 20 on the end of a driving shaft 18 supported by an engine case 16, and is screwed and fixed to it by means of a nut 30. A board like cooling fan 36 is inserted in, and fixed to, the ventilation window 34 of the flywheel 24, and an exciting magnet 40 which cooperates with a stator core 42 fixed to the engine case 16, is installed on the inner periphery of the cylindrical part 38 of the flywheel 24. Plural number of guide fins 45 which are inclined in the rotating direction 58 side of the flywheel 24, are provided in an integrated form with the cover 48 fir housing the flywheel 24, on its inner periphery, to circulate air within the cover 48 effectively.
