Title:
Internal-combustion engine
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP6099613
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve persistence of tumble flow in a combustion chamber of an internal combustion engine.SOLUTION: In an internal combustion engine 1 in which intake ports 25 are respectively formed at an intake side at one side in the Y direction of a combustion chamber 20 and one side in the X direction, and at an intake side in the Y direction and the other side in the X direction one by one when a crank axial direction is a X direction, a cylinder axial direction is a Z direction, and a direction orthogonal to the X direction and the Z direction is a Y direction, at least one exhaust port 26 is formed at an exhaust side as the other side in the Y direction of the combustion chamber, an intake valve 31 is disposed on an opening end at a combustion chamber side, of the intake port, an exhaust valve is disposed on an opening end at a combustion chamber side of the exhaust port, and the intake air flowing into the combustion chamber from the intake port forms the tumble flow, the intake air flowing into the combustion chamber from each of the intake ports is much at a peripheral edge side of the combustion chamber with respect to a center side of the combustion chamber in the X direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
