To provide an internal illumination-type signboard, wherein difference in illuminance on a display screen can be minimized even when a fault occurs in an LED panel and the size of a power source device is made small.

The internal illumination-type signboard includes: a translucent display screen on the surface of which an image is displayed; a support base attachably/detachably supporting the display screen; a surface lighting device which is configured such that a plurality of long LED panels on which a plurality of LEDs are arrayed in a first direction are arranged in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction, and which is fixed to the support base and illuminating the display screen from the rear side; and a power source device supplying electric power to the plurality of LED panels of the surface lighting device via a breaker. A plurality of groups are created with two or more LED panels that are not adjacent to each other as one group, and the breaker is provided so as to correspond to each of the plurality of groups.
