To reduce the weight of a lock body and facilitate the assembling of a protecting cover by providing a front part and rear part formed of a synthetic resin.
In the mounting device A of a coin throw-in type lock which allows the rotating operation of a key by throw-in of a coil for locking and unlocking, and is installed to the door D of a locker or others, this device has a front base 10 formed of a synthetic resin, to which the internal mechanism of a coil return type lock is installed, and a protecting cover 30 formed of a synthetic resin which is covered on the internal mechanism. Further, a plurality of engagement parts 11 are formed on the inner wall of the front base material 10, a plurality of engaged parts 31 capable of being engaged with and disengaged from the engagement parts 11 are formed on the inner wall of the protecting cover 30, and the engagement parts 11 of the front base material 10 are pressure connected to the engaged parts 31 of the protecting cover 30. The respective engagement parts 11 and engaged parts 31 are mutually engagingly locked, whereby the protecting cover 30 can be easily installed to the front base material 10.
