Abstract:
PURPOSE: To keep a tooth form theoretically free from abrasion, even when liquid having a wide range of viscosity is handled at high speed rotation and pressure.
CONSTITUTION: A driven internal tooth gear 4 having external surface rotatably supported on a casing 1 is made to have whole addendum tooth forms 4a, and the tooth forms 3a of an external tooth drive gear 3 are kept in contact with the tooth forms 4a only at projection points 9 for the reduction of torque acting on the gear 4 due to liquid pressure to zero, thereby keeping a tooth form theoretically free from abrasion.
