PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in which: an Internet connection processing method is demanded for managing apparatuses provided in a subscriber's home connected to the Internet with a vCPE provided for a common carrier.SOLUTION: An Internet connection processing method for an information terminal provided in a subscriber's home with a vCPE provided for a common carrier includes the steps of: receiving an IP address request from the information terminal; providing an IP address to the information terminal; receiving a request to connect to the Internet from the information terminal; and determining whether the information terminal sending the connection request can be connected to the Internet. The step of determining whether the information terminal can be connected to the Internet includes referring to connection number information indicating the number of apparatuses that can be connected to the Internet, and when the number of apparatuses connected to the Internet is within an allowable number, receiving the connection request from the information terminal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
