Abstract:
To perform smooth respond while suppressing power consumption, even if setting a cellular phone to an apparatus capable of responding to a call from an entrance slave unit.SOLUTION: An interphone system has an interphone device 1 that is equipped with an entrance slave unit 4 and a room master unit 5, and a cellular phone 2 connected to the interphone device 1 through a network N. The interphone system also has an air information memory portion 21 that stores a specified area including an installation position of the room master unit 5, and a position determining portion 22 that grasps a position of the cellular phone 2, and determines whether the cellular phone 2 is located inside or outside the specified area. The cellular phone 2 performs connection maintenance processing with the room master unit 5 at a short interval of 10 seconds, if the position determining portion 22 determines that the cellular phone is inside the specified area, and performs the connection maintenance processing only when receiving a push request from a communication adaptor 3, when determining that it is outside the specified area.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
