To provide an analysis program of the cranial capacity and a local brain structure automatically and highly precisely setting regions of interest not only in a level of the whole brain, the cerebrum and the cerebella but also for every micro anatomical site of the brain, automatically and highly precisely measuring the capacities of the region of interests, and being practically usable at a clinical site.
Brain image data 3 of a subject measured by MRI or the like is treated by a predetermined preprocessing to acquire image data 3GM of the substantia grisea part. The brain image data 7ic or 7VOI of a standard brain set with ROIs (Regions of Interest) is deformed based on image data 80 of the substantia grisea part in the standard brain and the image data 3GM of the substantia grisea part to convert the ROIs into the brain image data of the subject. The capacities of the cranial ROIs of the local ROIs are calculated based on the ROIs converted into the brain image data 3ic or 3VOI of the subject using the MRI image.
