Abstract:
PURPOSE:To strengthening a holding function of bead portions, by providing with at least one of a pair of bead portions at the right and left hands a toe portion extending at the inside of a bead core toward the inside of a radial direction at the inside of a bead core. CONSTITUTION:A bead of a tire 11 has a non-extending bead core 12 and a toe portion 13 extending toward the inside in a radial direction at the inside in an axial direction of the bead core 12. A wheel rim 10 is provided with a ring-shaped groove 3 for receiving the toe portion 13. A distance W6 from a heel end J to the end N of the toe portion 13 is formed within a range 2.5-3.5 times and preferably 2.9-3.2 of a distance W4 from the heel end J to the center of the bead core 12. With this arrangement, the position of the bead core 12 is largely approached to a rim flange side, whereby the bead portion can be held securely when a force in a horizontal direction is applied in the case that an internal pressure is decreased.
