Abstract:

To minimize occurrence of shortage of articles and restrain a cost accompanied by stock by predicting stock transition, and effectively control the stock.

A receiver terminal 3 for receiving ordering data of the article and an orderer terminal 2 for transmitting the ordering data to the receiver terminal 3 are connected to a network 1. An article shelf database 28 constituted by an article data table including stock number data is stored in the orderer terminal 2. A given number is given to each of the article data table. When the data of the given number and the quantity of the article are inputted, the data at inputting are added while subtracting the stock number data, and the article shelf database are renewed. The renewed article data table is analyzed by an information processing means and the inventory situation is predicted. The ordering data are transmitted to the receiver terminal based on the prediction of the inventory transition before the date and the time when the shortage is predicted.
